Green Friday, what's in a name?

Black Friday was invented to boost sales, but has evolved into a momentum of extreme mass consumption that is not in line with our philosophy. That is why we have decided not to participate, but to do something extra, namely to give something back to nature.

The fashion sector is has a big impact on the environment, which is why we have been working for years to reduce our impact as much as possible. We do this in the first place by making high-quality clothing that you can enjoy for years and therefore also need less new clothing.

In addition, we only produce what is ordered by our own stores and the multi-brand boutiques, so that we have as few leftover stock as possible. We focus on local production, which is not only positive for our own economy, but it also minimizes the necessary transport. We also search for green alternatives for our fabrics season after season, in collaboration with our fabric suppliers. Our warehouse, offices, showroom and workshop are centralized in our Antwerp headquarters, so that we also limit transport in this way.

We found a great partner for our plans BOS+. It is a Flemish organization that has been specifically committed to forest conservation, better forest and more forest in Flanders and the world for more than 40 years. BOS+ also plants 'company forests': in recent years they have planted 10 million trees in collaboration with more than 100 companies.

BOS+ presented us with a plot in Hoogstraten that they would like to plant, but which still needed financing. The exact location of the plot is 51°25'01.6"N 4°42'25.6"E.

So no black Friday, but a GREEN FRIDAY!

Our goal is to get to 1000 trees, together with you!

From Friday 26 to Monday 29 November you can purchase a tree with your order during the check-out in the webshop.

We are committed to double every donation.

If you buy 1 tree, we will have 2 trees planted by BOS+!

The 'Green Friday' campaign is also available in the brand stores in Antwerp, Ghent, Knokke, Lier and Brussels.
