Spring-Summer '22: Bagno Paradiso

This season, Nathalie will take you on a journey. She invited photographer Lynn Laureys to her second home in Italy and together they went to all her favourite places for the campaign shoot.

Not only has this resulted in a highly personal collection: the images also bring you very close to Nathalie's world.

Italian summer

It is as if a young Monica Bellucci and Farrah Fawcett found their way to Italy in the 1960s and ’70s on a road trip, many years before Thelma and Louise. This is a unique quality of Nathalie’s universe: she doesn’t like to be tied down to a single source of inspiration or time period. Instead, she is attracted by specific atmospheres and strong figures. The campaign shoot exudes relaxation and a sexy sense of liberation in a summer setting. Little cups of coffee in the morning, dolce far niente by day and dressing with a hint of nostalgia for a sultry summer evening.

Combine to your heart’s content

Combinability has always been one of Nathalie Vleeschouwer’s strengths. As more and more plain fabrics find their way into the collection, the combination options are constantly expanding. This season we see many fabrics with an interesting structure, yet still a distinctly light-hearted character: seersucker qualities with a waffled effect, linen, tetra, sandwashed twill, broderie anglaise... fantasy stripes and checks also contribute to the rich mix.

The wide range of knitwear is now also an unmissable aspect of the collection. They range from fine cottons used as a T-shirt and luxurious Ecovero viscose yarns with a second-skin feel to fine woolly alpaca jerseys and chunky alpaca-mohair cardigans and sweaters knitted in Belgium. Everything coordinates with the prints and plain fabrics, so the combinations feel very natural.
